Every Round Experience

Round 1: Online MCQ Test on Calyxpod Platform

Description: The first round was an online multiple-choice question (MCQ) test covering various topics, including Aptitude, Operating Systems (OS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

Difficulty: Easy to Medium

Round 2: Online Coding Test on Calyxpod Platform

Description: This round involved solving two coding questions within one hour.

Questions:

  1. Find the union and intersection of two lists.
  2. Identify the second number in an array whose frequency is 2.

Difficulty: Easy to Medium

Round 3: Advanced Subjective Round on Calyxpod Platform

Description: The third round consisted of five subjective questions to be answered within 70 minutes.

Questions:

  1. Check for balanced parentheses in an expression
  2. Given a JavaScript snippet, write the correct output.
  3. Given a webpage mockup, write the corresponding HTML and CSS.
  4. Write code for JavaScript form validation, including specified functionalities.
  5. Another JavaScript snippet to determine the correct output.

Difficulty: Easy to Medium

Outcome: Shortlisted students received an assignment from JTG.

Round 4: Assignment

Description: The assignment had to be completed within one week. Using any UI framework or JavaScript library/framework was not allowed, increasing the difficulty due to these restrictions.

Difficulty: Medium

Outcome: Shortlisted students received a notification about another online test.

Round 5: MCQ Test on DSA and Frontend Technologies

Description: An MCQ test focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and frontend technologies, to be completed within one hour.

Difficulty: Medium

Outcome: Shortlisted students received a notification about a technical discussion.

Round 6: Real-Time Assignment

Description: Students were given another assignment to complete within two hours. The interview involved screen sharing, and the interviewer asked for updates every 20 minutes.

Outcome: Shortlisted students received a notification about a technical discussion.

Round 7: Personal Interview – Technical

Description: The interview began with an introduction and included questions on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Computer Networks. The interview heavily focused on CSS skills, which was a critical evaluation point.
